EYC and EYAR – HOME ACTIVITY            Autumn term 1^st half

Dear Parents,

Each half term we will be suggesting a small project for the children to work on, with you at home.

The finished product can then be brought into school at the end of each half term for the children to show each other, and to talk about what they have made.

For this half term - we are suggesting a ‘sock puppet snake’. This will support our Jolly Phonics work as well as being fun for the children to use.

You will need;

• An old clean sock
• Buttons for the eyes
• Strips of fabric for the mouth
• Other fabric pieces for any other markings

Method;

Simply sew or glue the features in place (see examples)

     To be in school – week beginning 20^th October please.
